A few days before the Geneva Motor Show, Jaguar officially unveils its i-Pace, its first 100% electric model with the performance of a sports car.

Clean vehicle, the i-Pace offers the performance of a sports car, the latest artificial intelligence technology and the practicality of an SUV with volume and 5 seats. Designed from a white sheet, the i-Pace is a 100% electric vehicle that has two engines designed by Jaguar and developing between them a power of 400 hp and 696 Nm of torque. The i-Pace runs from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds. To power both electric motors, a 90kWh Lithium-ion battery, positioned centrally between the two axles that use a double-wishbone suspension on the front and Integral Link on the rear with, optionally, an air suspension and the Adaptive Dynamics system, authorizes according to the British manufacturer a range of 480 km and a fast recharge of 0 to 80% in 40 minutes, while 15 minutes of recharging can achieve a range of 100 km.

The i-Pace is built on a rigid and lightweight aluminum body with a weight distribution of 50/50. Modern, connected and intelligent, the i-Pace is the first Jaguar to receive the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system. By combining touch screens, capacitive sensors and physical controls, the use of Touch Pro Duo is intuitive. The new EV navigation system evaluates the topography of the trip, adds the history of previous trips, including driving style, and calculates the personalized range and refills with exceptional precision that inspires confidence. The advanced system uses "Smart Settings" technology, intelligent parameters determined by artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms that identify driver preferences for adapting i-Pace driving and interior settings.
The i-Pace will be available in S, SE and HSE versions alongside a First Edition. Jaguar warranty battery 8 years. Orders are open now with a price from 78 380 €.
