The Alfa Romeo 1900 was presented during the 1950 Paris Motor Show. The production started in 1950 to terminate in 1959. The model was designed by Orazio Satta, Italian automobile designer working with Alfa Romeo.

"It's a true example of what we call bellezza necessaria, or necessary beauty. It’s derived from the functionalist approach to design that was a typical Bauhaus philosophy." - Andrea Michele Zagato, grandson of Ouga Zagato. source

This car was sold in 1955 to Carrozeria Zagato (Milan) to install their coachwork with particular attention to the aerodynamic performance. Only 38 examples were built with this lightweight body. The car headed for Spain to participate in some races with Conrero prepared engine.

Absolutely superb! The blue colour is a rare treat, and it certain matches the car well, and it looks rather neat having been paired to that two-tone finish. Nothing like a classic Alfa to make the day more enjoyable, especially with a Zagato body on top!

Yep beautiful design especially the front with this grille and headlights.
