Morris series Z.

in cars •  6 years ago

Today I bring to you this lovely Morris series Z drop head ute from the All British Day in Brisbane Australia.

These ute's were assembled here in Australia from British mechanicals etc with the body's being built here. These being built from 1940-1953. Using a 918cc side valve engine and a three speed gearbox unlike the passenger car version using a four speed gearbox gues s to keep the price down on a commercial vehicle. The engine made a huge 29 hp with top speeds around 93 km/h also used 6v electrical system as was very normal in vehicles if that time period. The replacement of these were the famous Morris Minor cars.

Thanks for following along with me on this series from the all British Day.
