Tassie Nats 13. Part 6

in cars •  7 years ago

Tassie Nats 13 was held on the 2nd-4th of March 2018. I was there on saturday the 3rd being the main day of competition and activity. Tassie Nats is a drag racing and burnout competition that is part of the Australian drag racing and burnout competition series.
This track is located at Powranna near Launceston Tasmania. We had good weather for the day and a great big turn out of spectators and competitors including some from the big island.
I hope you will follow along in this part 1 as i bring this event to you in photographic form.

This is now action time on the burnout pad.

Some nice smoke shows! There's nothing like the sound of roaring engines and burning rubber. Thanks for posting.

Yes indeed.

Oh man, I miss those days.

I love the smell of burning rubber in the morning, "it smells like fun", cheers mate.

Haha indeed.

Looks like fun. I love how Tassie is small enough.for you to get around to all these shows... although I suspect you would on the mainland too huh? Keep up your stellar work.

It does help being a small place though with alot of hilly and twisty roads it can take longer to travel than most think. I have done same on the bug island. Thanks i will keep trying to do good work here.

Your welcome mate.

From your blogs, Tassie seems like such an amazing place to be. Would definitely like to come down and visit one day, Sydney is a little boring :(

Sure is an amazing place i hope you can visit Tas sometime. I worked in western Sydney a few years ago it is not my favourite place to be.

What a smoke! ;)

Yeah lots of smoke and awesome sounding engines.

The burn out must have been interesting. I have really enjoyed the pictures. Thanks for sharing :)

Glad you enjoyed it.
