Today I bring to you this very nice Triumph Spitfire MK1 from the all British day in Brisbane Australia.
These first Triumph Spitfire's are now known as the MK1 and were built between 1962-1964. They were styled by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti. The Spitfire was fitted with an 1,147cc engine, producing 63hp with twin SU carburetors. Also fitted with front disk brakes and rack and pinion steering with an independent coil sprung front suspension. with independent rear swing arm suspension. These cars were very popular in the USA and became one of America's favorite roadster's.
Thanks for following along with me on this series from the all British day.
Have a great day/night :-)
