Hi i attended the Kombi Day meeting at the Berry Patch located at Turners Beach Tasmania. This event was held on the 10 of March 2018 with 100+ Kombi's it was the largest gathering of them in Tasmania.
There were also some other classic Volks Wagen's in attendence as well. The weather was perfect and i was able to catch up with some friends i have not seen for some time.
I hope you will follow along with me as i walk my way around these cool vehicles taking many photos. Hope you enjoy viewing these as much as i did.

Yes very weird here. The Berry Patch is set up for customers to pick there own berry's. So i think that is the main reason they are above ground. Makes it easy for the customers to pick them.

not a cup holder in the fleet. I've owned 3 air cooled Vdubs. Loved them all. Two beetles and a Type 3. Every time I think about buying one though, I just think about the stool I always carried, so I could sit and look at the F&%@*#g engine on the side of the road... Good times!

Also very interesting how all the pop-tops there are the straight lift type. In the US, nearly all are the hinged at one end type. I desperately want a pop top for my '64 Dodge.
