Thought we could start the page by reviewing the all new range rover velar! Unlike some reviews this will be short and to the point with everything you really want to know without the waffling!

Let's start with the looks and size, the velar is an all new shape from landrover although shares a lot of its looks and style from the sport and evoque. The velar is supposedly the smaller brother of the sport but definitely has the just the same road presents and feel when driving!

The inside is a thing of futuristic beauty which has a full size touchscreen sharing some similarities with the tesla dash display, the velar also now come with the option of cloth seats which is first for such a newer model although has no cost difference from leather, although this would be handy with pets to stop the dreaded scratching on leather!

Engine sizes vary with the cheapest option a 178bhp 2.0-litre diesel. A 237bhp version of this is also available, while the entry-level petrol is a 247bhp 2.0-litre turbo which is definitely enough to pull itself and the 2500kg towing capacity!

A 296bhp 2.0-litre petrol will be added to the range later this year, fitting beneath the supercharged 375bhp 3.0-litre V6 petrol that’s on sale from launch!

Hope you've enjoyed the review and look forward to hearing your comments!
