THE COBRA:
A car that a lot of people underestimate and lost a lot of appreciation for.
In my opinion, this is really a classic build with an amazing experience behind the wheel.
Cobra History:
This car had a hand-built body and a steel tube frame as well as a aluminium body panels.
The engine was designed by BMW and was pre-World 2, which by the 1960s was considered
old and not modern anymore.
Bristol then decided in 1961 to stop the making of the engines and use Chrysler with their
313 cu V8 engines instead. AC also used the 2.6 litre Ford engine in the cars as well.
The American designed Carroll Shelby (automotive designer) wrote to AC in talks
to build a car with a modified V8 engine and was agreed in September 1961.
Shelby also went to Chevrolet for engines, not wanting to create competition,
but was declined.
However, Ford wanted a car that can compete with Corvette and used the
Windsor 221 (3.6L) engine. Lightweight, thin-wall cast small block V8.
Cobra offered customers three packages that included the following:
Dragon Snake
Slalom Snake
Super Snake
These three packages was offered with their individual values and specs.
This Cobra has a 383 Chevy engine, for more information about this engine and build, please

PURE POWER AND AGGRESSION
The Cobra is most definitely a head turner on and off the roads,
as it really portrays it's beauty, look, and sporty aggressiveness,
yet subtle movements wen it fly past you.
This car is something you can be proud of having if you are a owner.
Something that carries more than just history, name or a badge of a COBRA.
It gives joy, happiness and fulfillment to your heart.
