I'm sure the majority of you have already figured out I am not a huge fan of Honda, unless it's the Holy Grail NSX.
However I recently found this during my local JDM searches.
Honda Civic EF9 SIR
This particular car was allegedly owned by APEXi in Japan and was legally imported into South Africa. It is believed that there are only two of these legally registered in the country.
These are some of the modifications done to this pocket rocket
- B20 Block with a B16 Head
- ARP Headbolts
- Larger Fuel Pump
- Skunk Pro valves and retainers
- Buddy Club cams
- Skunk Throttle Body
- Wire tucked engine bay
- Spitronics ECU
- New bushes
- Lenso wheels
Car is making around 170kw!
I believe it's still available and is selling for a reasonable R68,000 ($5800 USD)
What you spend the money on this knowing it was owned by an APEXi shop in Japan? (I find it hard to believe as there isn't a single APEXi part fitted to it, maybe I'm wrong... who knows)

For Honda i only like NSX, Integra Type R (DC2), Civic Type R (EK9 & FD2) and S2000

Seems a bit vague that an APEXi car wouldn't have a single APEXi part installed. Personally I wouldn't buy the car simply because the mods that are installed on it aren't really my taste.
