Dirt Cheap

I was just about to put together a Skyline auction post but then saw the below Skyline being sold for $29 USD!

Yeah, you read it right an entire $29 USD! I mean I've seen some pretty beat up Skylines sold at the auctions for around $200-400 USD but $29 is a whole new low.

It's by no means a fantastic model, it's a GTS with 71,000km sports a laggy automatic gearbox and an RB20DE engine.

It was rated R grading for rebuilt rear panels and boot area so probably was in an accident. The interior has been graded as a D for quality and C for exterior.

All in all if I was allowed to bring this car in to South Africa legally, I probably would have done it, stripped out the gearbox and thrown in an RB25.

You know what they say right? One man's junk is another man's treasure...

I'm not sure if the person who wrote the auction sheet did this by mistake but he listed it as a 40th Anniversary XG model. Either way $29! damn.....
