The C5 Aircross by Citroen isn’t a particularly engaging car, nor is it fast however it is extremely good at being a long distance cruiser.
The C5 is the big brother to the C3 Aircross we reviewed last year.
The car we have has 1.5 130 BlueHDI engine meaning diesel, it also has a 6 speed manual gearbox.
The range starts at just under £23,500 for the Feel and this model is just under £28,000 however comes with 19” wheels and Nappa leather.
One of the highlights of the new Aircross is the duel floor boot position, giving you ample flexibility for all of your storage needs.
When it comes to driver and passenger experience, this car is in a league of its own, due to its suspension system which comprises of hydraulic cushions ensuring unrivalled comfort.
This car is perfect for cruising the continent, and long hauls, due to its extra comfortable seats and the rear seats being individually adjustable.
The car is roomy, economical returning 52mpg and stylish.
A great all rounder which can be punchy when needed.
The car looks great and I like all the extras. The only problem is it is French and they have a bad resale value. The only way I would buy one is a second hand one and even then it would be questionable. I enjoy your reviews so will keep an eye out for one that may appeal to me at some stage.

cool solution with the blind spot detection in the electric mirrors. also looks very spacious inside and as you said comfortable. but still in my opinion isn't worth 22-28k British pounds.. its approximately 30k euro. too much, its possible to catch something way much better in this price

You’ll be hard pushed to find a similar ride quality and tech pack for this price, thank you, remember this is PSA Vauxhall, Citroen and Peugeot, hence why MG are doing well being owned by SAIC.
