Honda Civic 4 Door Saloon Review & Roadtest

in cars •  6 years ago

It's been a few years since we've seen a Honda Saloon in the UK, that being said meet the Civic 4 Door.

Available in a range of trims with a choice of engines and gearboxes.

Our car came with a DTEC 1.6 engine, a diesel engine with a 6 speed manual gear box, if diesel is not for you you can get a 1 litre 3 cylinder.

There is also an auto (CVT).

It's a very practical, economical and peppy saloon with lots of safety kit, the trim we had was the SR, this gave us 17" alloys and some other additions.

You can spec up your car to include, leather upholstery, active cruise control even a premium sound system.

We'd also opt for the Pearlescent paint at £520 which our car came with, a great looking 4 Door with a mix of executive and sporty styling.

Drive economically and you'll get upto around 80mpg, dependant on engine.

The Civic 4 Door starts at just under £19,000, great value.
