This week's review car is the Mitsubishi ASX.
This is the new one well, actually it's a facelift - however it does look a fair bit different to the previous one for example the front has been changed and has the addition of LED headlamps.
There's lots of chrome, a big grille and a smart cluster set on the side of the bumper.
We have the Exceed trim, you can choose from one engine a 2L petrol, the mid SUV retails at just under £26,000 for the model we have.
We have the CVT, a few things have changed since the previous one certainly the aesthetic's, some of the interior is well you've got soft touch materials on top of the doors, very nice – leather wrapped steering wheel leather seats with electric drivers one.
This is our first taste of the car apart from when we met it for the first time at Wetherby racecourse at SMMT, where we had the vehicle for about an hour.
This time we've now got it for 7 days, and we'll be able to see how it copes with light offroading, how economical it is and how the 2L performs with the CVT and what to expect with handling and performance.
This is the last car of the decade, and that is something pretty crazy.
This is certainly the correct weather for the ASX, yesterday we took it up the Lake District yesterday lots of heavy big deep puddles of flying through them was no problem.
That's helped though by a decent raised ride height, it's comfortable to travel in, you get old school handbrake which is perfect and also four-wheel-drive mode with four-wheel-drive lock.
Watch out for the five things we love about the car and a full review after that is a two-week break so will be just coming on here with random posts, videos of the golf etc, enjoy
Hey Ben! Your Steemit reviews are very high quality, just like your YouTube channel. I really look forward to seeing more of this car! Cheers :)
