Peugeot 508 SW Estate 2019 GT Line Review

in cars •  5 years ago

From just over £26,500.00, the 508SW is a luxury estate car. With five different trims to choose from you have plenty of scope to make it your own.

The model we have here is the GT Line, and prices start from just under £30,000 - this one here is just over £37,000.00 with optional extras.

Standard features of the GT Line include 18 inch diamond cut alloy wheels, cruise control with speed limiter, Peugeot's i-cockpit, LED headlights, and tyre under inflation detection.

Optional extras include a panoramic sun roof, night vision and a smart electric tailgate.

It comes with a four cylinder 1.5 Litre turbocharged diesel engine, and an eight speed automatic gearbox which will get you from 0 to 62 mph in 10.1 seconds, delivering 221 Newton meters of torque. It's Euro 6 and NCAP 5 too.

It's a really pretty car. I do think Peugeot's design language in the last year or so have been one of the best in the mainstream car industry right now, up there with Volvo.

I do personally wish that Peugeot would go back to making sportier cars, like the Peugeots of the 90s.

The body lines combined with tech and if you drive the GT that 8 speed auto with the 225bhp you have a quick great looking car.

Yeah, there's no denying that it's a pretty good package overall.

Though I really want to see Peugeot making cars with performance in mind, and no compromises alongside their model lineup.

The 90s were the best era for Peugeot IMO :)

The T16, and pretty much any Group B was amazing.
