Skoda Karoq 2018 Review and Road Test

in cars •  6 years ago

We get behind the wheel of the new compact SUV from Skoda, the Yeti is no more, meet the funky, extremely functional and simply clever Karoq.

The model we have is the manual 1.5 turbo charged petrol model price at just over £26,000 the range starts at just under £20,500 with the range topping out at just over £27,000.

The SUV is available in petrol, diesel, manual and automatic.

The Karoq is well kitted out, comfortable with a mix of high grade soft touch plastics, trims and for robustness.

The interior is very comfortable and has a rather clever rear seating system, enabling you reconfigure allowing you to increase the space, you can also remove the centre seat to allow you to create a 2+2.

Skoda have really thought about there market, they include an umbrella under the passenger seat, sunglasses holder and ice scraper in the fuel cap.

It's NCAP 5 and rather economical too and available in intelleligent AWD.

Overall very impressive, punchy and great to drive.

punchy is good :)

the modes and smart adjustments to the dampers sound interesting

Yes in this SUV world you certainly need at the least punchy, it’s very clever.
