This was one car we hoped we'd see at this years Concour of Elegance at Hampton Court, we'd heard it would be on display and that there was a possibility that we would be able to see it up close.
Our wish was granted we not only got chance to see the Rolls Royce Sweptail close up, yet have a chat with the guy who looks after the only modern day 2 seater coachbuilt Rolls Royce in the world.
The Sweptail is a completely bespoke car built incorporating the Phantom V12 engine and it's platform, however that's where the story changes, the car has a bespoke dash with lots of aspects of the original dash hidden for a minimalist feel.
As you can see the gentleman who had the dream, wanted the car to include nautical styling, whuch can be seen in the yachtesque rear inside and out.
The RR has all the modern touches, sensors, reversing camera etc yet the elegance of a classic coachbuilt Rolls Royce.
