Not hard to predict this won't get permitted, it won't sell big, and people won't take to the air in cars.

Flying cars have been predicted since the Jetsons. But flying cars means every fender bender kills everyone on board both vehicles. Which means lawyers will get rich, briefly, before the flying car makers all go out of business.

Avery Brooks asked in an IBM commercial, "where are the flying cars?" That was in the year 2000. Still no flying cars. I've been reading about successful tests and revolutionary new flying cars for TWENTY YEARS or more. None are in the air today, being used for transport by private citizens.

Just imagine the homeowners insurance rates. DUIs and DWIs from the sky. I’ve always thought flying cars are a bad idea. I do recognize there are very responsible pilots, but there’s a reason why it’s difficult and time-consuming to turn that license.

The lawsuit rules.
