Are electric cars the future?

Hello everyone once again! If you go to a shopping centre and go to the parking lot of the shopping centre. Look around. You will most likely see a special parking spot for a car and it will say 'ELECTRIC'. That is the charging station for an electric car. You can always tell an electric car by the sound of the car. It will always be VERY quiet. Another way you can tell FULLY electric cars, that does not include hybrids is by the front of the car. Any hybrid or petrol car will have ventilation at the front of the car, most likely around the logo at the front.

That is a nice easy way to find if someone has an electric car. But electric cars aren't the majority. The majority are still petrol cars. However, petrol cars aren't green, and mankind's addiction to less green, cheaper and easier ways are seriously damaging the planet we live on.

So let's discuss some of the pros and cons of electric cars.

PROS:

Electric cars are green and that is very beneficial for the planet. This is a very big reason to why people are starting to make the switch from petrol to electric. By doing so it has lessened the pollution, not by a lot, but if lots of people are doing it, it adds up to a big change.

Electric cars can be charged wherever you go since it's not like petrol and it's as easy as a phone, the charger is everywhere. Plus there are parking spots only electric cars can park in, so that's a little bonus.

Electric cars don't have as big of an engine as a petrol car does, so more space can be used. The Tesla cars have space at the front of the car! So if you run out of space in the back, there's always the front to be used. The electric car's engine is pretty flat, allowing for lots of interior space.

CONS:

Electric cars may not have the usual radio, as the engine makes a lot of electric noise so that the radio will just be static. It would pick up pretty much nothing and be useless. That is why some electric car companies are ditching the AM radio.

Electric cars are new, that means it's pretty expensive so it might be smart to wait a little bit more when electric cars don't get so rare anymore. That also means the electricity fuel for the car might be really expensive as well.

CONCLUSION:

I think that electric cars will most likely be the future as it is green and if everyone uses it, it will really make a difference. Hybrids also might be part of the future but I'm not very sure on that one. In conclusion, if you don't already have an electric car yet, wait until the price drops and then get one!
