Wartburg was the name of a company in former East Germany that produced cars from 1956 until 1991.

Wartburg war der Handelsname der von 1956 bis zum 14. April 1991 im VEB Automobilwerk Eisenach gefertigten Personenkraftwagen-Baureihe des Herstellers IFA. Der Name leitet sich von der gleichnamigen Burg am Produktionsstandort Eisenach ab. von Wikipedia
