Day out to look at old carssteemCreated with Sketch.

Last weekend we visited the Bicester Heritage Centre. This was once a military airfield dating from 1920.

The cost was £4 each to go in and that was the same if you walked, drove or arrived by plane.
It was a dull day with rain until around 11 but this didn't keep the car enthusiasts away. They arrived in cars dating from 1920 up to present

1920 with 1914 10ltr engine

We went in my Porsche Cayenne Turbo and parked with 50 other Porsches. Several clubs had arranged to meet and park together.

The place to be honest was a bit of a mess with buildings everywhere and almost all now being used for car businesses or car storage

The cars were awesome. Hope you like.

NICE!

Thanks. It was a great day

Cool. There's some collections of old vehicles near us in Bedfordshire. Some seem to have more than they can handle. It's great to see some of them still being driven.

A lot still being driven and was good to see in winter.

I just love the classics!!

So do I, especially now that I have my own...

The Mustang may be new, but it's a classic... I wasn't hinting at your age, @s0u1

Very nice pieces..especially the classic cars!

Lots of very old cars from 1920s and 30s. They arrived in the rain with drivers in coats and hats but with a smile on their faces. The ones with canvas roofs all left with the tops down and why not. They are for the less fortunate to look at and dream and the fortunate to drive.

Omygerd, really love the very old ones from 1920s and 30s - so drool-worthy!
