I think it's because Tesla was recently trading at its highest level ever and was already up 78% for the year and analysts felt that Tesla wasn't going to make its numbers this quarter because they are starting to give buyers greater incentives on some of their current models. Analysts also believe that the clean car tax credit is going to run out soon and that the credit is what helps many people afford the cars. But the new model 3 is much more affordable so we'll see. I think Elon Musk is the most exciting CEO in America.
