A piece of history in the workshop..

Yesterday whilst having the m3 detailled I bumped into a piece of history!

With the re-release of the new Alpine A110 it seemed appropriate to share this rare original Alpine A310 V6.

It’s interesting period aero design boasting a rather large duckbill spoiler stuck to its one piece fibreglass clam shell covering the tubular steel chassis and rear mounted v6... lets just say you wouldn’t miss this passing by on the roads.

The car has sold for £23,000 and is sure to be a solid investment for its new owner! Let’s hope to see it featured in some hillclimb events or used on the roads as opposed to tucked away!
