Mystey Incorporated is a two season reboot of the classic Scooby Doo cartoons released on Cartoon Network during 2010-2013.
Story
Welcome to Crystal Cove, where ghost and supernatural are a daily occurrence.
There a team of teenagers (+ one dog) runs around solving mysteries and often gets into a trouble with a local police.
The team consists of Fred Jones, their leader with a major case of trap obsession; Daphne Blake, a hot brunette; Velma Dinkley, the brains of the team; Norville "Shaggy" Rogers and his dog Scooby Doo.
One day the gang is solving another mystery and ends up in cave. Daphne finds a mysterious locket with picture in it. The mystery behind it complicates even further, when a mysterious man, who calls himself Mr. E starts giving them clues.
Execution
This is time the creators don't mess around. Large parts of the show are genuienly scary and people actually die.
While the episodes focus on capturing villains, the overall show has a one huge ongoing mystery. This is a nice touch and the biggest difference from the typical Scooby Doo formula.
However this isn't suprising. The authors are large fans of horror movies and didn't hesitate to fill the show with tons of horror references (Twin Peaks was a major influence behind the show) and that's not counting all the other pop culture references and huge amount of sex jokes (did I mention, that it's a kids show?).
I personally liked all the references to other Hanna-Barbera. For example you have an episode, where the gang joins forces with Blue Falcon (this version is based on Batman from The Dark Knight Returns) and Dynomutt to fight Dr. Zin from The Adventures of Jonny Quest (Dr. Quest and Race Bannon make a cameo in the episode also).
The authors managed to fill the town with a great supporting cast, major points for the Sheriff Bronson Stone (voiced by Patrick Warburton), who often steals the show. Also there is a nice detail with Shaggy's dad. In this show Shaggy is voiced by Matthew Lillard, who played Shaggy in the two live-action movies. The original voice of Shaggy, Casey Kasem. It's a nice little touch.
It's hard to write a review of a mystery show without spoiling anything. So I will end it here.
Kate Micucci is the best Velma. I hadn't caught this series but I have watched probably way more Scooby Doo than one should. Did you catch the last one they put out with Brave and the Bold with Scooby Doo? Batman was voiced by Diedric Bader, it was both awesome and weird.
I might go back to see some specific episodes from this on, I didn't know about the Hanna Barbara crossover stuff happened in this run

Haven't seen that movie yet, but it's on my "to watch" list.
The Hanna-Barbera references are all over the show. Even to the obscure ones, like that Moby Dick show.
You should watch the whole show. Mainly the second season, where you get all kinds of spooky and crazy stuff. For example an army of nazi robots. That big mystery, and the series finale are worth it.
