Over the past 20 plus episodes we’ve been given a taste of how dystopian this subterranean world is outside of Arkadia. Even that city has elements far from utopic. In this episode the group ventures to a city crawling with criminals which leads to Arkana, Matt, and Rebecca being kidnapped. While Arkana will be sold in slavery the kidnappers train Rebecca to be a pickpocket. This backfires on them when Matt swipes the key to escape and Rebecca takes the kidnappers knife. Spartakus gets into a whip battle for Arkana. With her assistance Spartakus bests the brute. The street performer that was friends with Spartakus plays a song for them as they take off.
