Project: Casemod - Hardware@Wall - Sleeving

Habedere,

today only a small update.

If you missed the 15th part (Blue); here it is:
Project: Casemod - Hardware@Wall - Blue

All parts for the cable sleeving arrived, so I can move on.

Here you can see the sleeves and the cover for the DVD drive.
Similar I did this for the other components.

I transferred the cable position to the cover.

After that I drilled the 5 holes and the slot for the SATA cable.

The problem with these types of covers were the pre-assembled cables.
They will not fit through the cover.
To solve this I had to split the cover with my saw.

I glued one side to the overlay and mounted all cables through the cover. Then I glued the other side to the overlay and put some carbon foil on top of it.
That was the result.

It seems easy, but it was really difficult and shitty.
In the end I was really frustrated and hated this part of the mod.
It was an annoying fumbling and took the whole week only for this small topic.

Rage mode on.
