Cashila Suspending Retail Processing On May 31st 2017

Cashila, a Bitcoin and Euro SEPA payment service, has announced today that it is suspending retail processing. In other words - no more Cashila for ordinary people.

Full quote of the announcement that I've found in my mailbox today:

We want to remind all Cashila users to withdraw/transfer their remaining account balances by 31 May 2017!

As stated in our email announcement of 7 March 2017 and our blog post, Cashila will no longer be offering retail services and/or services for regular users, as we are focusing on B2B (business) services only.

We have made it convenient for you to access your account and withdraw your funds here.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Withdrawals will operate normally through the Cashila website until 31 May 2017. You can withdraw your funds to any bank account within the SEPA area or you can buy and withdraw BTC from Cashila.
  • Any users with remaining balances after this date will be able to withdraw their funds until 31 March 2018 through Cashila customer support only!

If you have any questions or concerns in response to this email, please contact Cashila support at [email protected].

The Cashila Team

I've been a Cashila user for some time. I found it very conveniebt for payin Euro bills with bitcoins. Sadly they are closing this part of their shop.

I wish the team well. I do hope that this decision is sound and will turn out for better in the future.

Good luck!
