In the first week of the fall, the pace has slowed a bit, as the days are rapidly shortening.
With the drawbridge built in the preceding week, the first order of business this last week was to build a structure which will be able to house the drawbridge when it is up.
Keeping precipitation out of that stairwell is a key function as well.
Toward that end, spare recycled windows are added.
Sammy and her sister started laying eggs in the last week!

Fresh produce from OG Foundation!
This is the connection point between the new Entry Hall and the original Earthship structure, built in 2014.
As the berm is cut back to the insulation covered in plastic which is up against a tirewall behind it, a rock wall is build to cover that.
After the mortar from the first rocks cures, a second section is also mortared, as more berm is removed.
Merlons create crenellations using recycled nutrient containers.
Next step is to cover them with mortar...
In Block #206, ending 9/20/2021, a total of 2611@ (Appreciation Tokens) were generated; 371@ were generated by the daily appreciation of 53 members, 350@ were generated by 35 hours of labor exhausted for the Cooperative, and 1890@ were generated by 189 OG Creds (Ø); bringing the total to 331,663@.
