A few days ago I blogged about us getting two kittens.

One of the kittens was sick and would not eat. My wife was trying to force feed it with a syringe. then she brought it to the vet and they said he had a cold. well he kept not eating then last night he started falling down when he would walk and from there we knew something was wrong we thought it might be low blood sugar so my wife went to the store to buy this stuff that you put in the mouth and it gives the cat what it needs. the whole time she was gone my oldest son was holding the cat petting it and the whole time the cat was dying. by the time she got back the cat was taking its last breaths. All this happend fast.
so we buried him in the back yard. my son is strong to sit and hold a cat as it dies. i couldn't have done that at that age.

So sad!
You clearly did all you could for the kitten. I have held an animal while it died on a couple of occasions in my life as an adult.
I don't think I could have kept it together as a child. What a strong little man you guys are raising!Sorry for your loss. It's never easy letting go of a pet no matter how long you've had them. It's even harder to do with kids.
Now you'll have to spoil the other kitten twice as much.

yea now the kids don't leave that other kitten alone. yea it was hard for my oldest. I think my youngest was just crying because his brother was because the next day he didn't even care I don't think.

So sorry you lost your cat. @ironshield

yea the kids were upset. but they are good strong kids.
