Pets drinking tap water

is tasting a human soup.

While I wonder: do your cat or dog drink outta bath, pan or a sink? It's kinda one of a few bad things I can't stop the beastie to do.
Yeah, I think it's no good for a pet to dink tap water - cause of all the mineral impurities you'll find later in her kidneys. Yet I know no working methods to stop it doing this silly sips. Do you?
