A poem for my cat and Teddy updates

For Teddy
A poem

"Little kitty sleeping,
curled up on my lap.
Why do you keep farting,
every time you nap?
The stench of death enfolds me,
and hits me on the nose.
You just give a little sigh
stretching out your toes."

He also does this contented little shuddering sigh, which although very cute, does not compensate for the assault on my senses.
I think his gassy-ness may be from the medication he's on again now. He's been struggling with back spasms which cause him to writhe around on his back until he can grab hold of his foot which he then bites down on and pulls. He drew blood a couple of times.
The vet put him on anti-inflammatory medication for the next 2 weeks. It seems to be helping.

Life with a disabled cat is never boring :)

I love him to bits.

Tigers are excellent swimmers and do not avoid water.

Teddy is definitely not a tiger then. Gave him a bath yesterday and he objected, loudly and consistently.

The biggest wildcat today is the Siberian Tiger. It can be more than 12 feet (3.6 m) long (about the size of a small car) and weigh up to 700 pounds (317 kg).

Flash is about 4.5 kg, he's fat and needs to lose weight.

The lightest cat on record is a blue point Himalayan called Tinker Toy, who weighed 1 pound, 6 ounces (616 g). Tinker Toy was 2.75 inches (7 cm) tall and 7.5 inches (19 cm) long.

That's tiny!

The Maine Coon is 4 to 5 times larger than the Singapura, the smallest breed of cat.

And how much larger is a tiger than a maine coon?
