Kucing merah atau Borneo bay kucing adalah hewan asli Kalimantan. Bulunya berwarna coklat terang dan warna bulu di bagian kaki dan ekor agak pucat dan merah. IUCN Redlist memasukkan kucing pembohong yang satu ini ke dalam daftar hewan yang terancam punah. Kelangkaan kucing merah karena faktor deforestasi. Kucing ini hidup di hutan, sedangkan hutan di Kalimantan kian banyak yang rusak.
