A snap... Tommy the Black Cat. Another impromptu shoot. Now Tommy turns up where I was staying sometimes, sleeps on my car, objects when I drive it away. Well if someone threw you out of bed and left with your bed you might object. Now Tommy reminds me of some of my ex's; sleeps a lot if given the chance, purrs, meows, demands love and affection, totally indifferent and ignores me if feeling like it, comes running up and jumps me usually after ignoring me for hours. Then randomly attacks me, biting wrapping around me. Now Tommy is not my cat nor the house cat of where I was staying, he is one of their neighbours cats, but rarely seems to go home. I was trying to photograph him on my car, but when he saw the front door was open he dived inside. I have gone downstairs in the morning to find him sitting on the window ledge by the door waiting to be let out, how he got in who knows. 2017 The reason I mentioned impromptu is because just a few days before I shot this I did a shoot with a Hollywood film actress in London which was planned, but also did 2 impromptu shoots that day, one with the host for the day Layla who was a life model and pregnant at the time, first pregnant woman I think I have shot, definitely the first nude pregnant woman I have shoot / photographed. I also did a quick shoot with the wonderful Jordan who organised the shoot of the Hollywood actress and asked me to be the photographer. Jordan an ex fashion model, who occasionally still does shoots and is one of those wonderful people one is sometimes lucky in life to meet.

It has been scientifically proven that stroking a cat can lower one's blood pressure.

A cat has more bones than a human; humans have 206, and the cat - 230.

You check your cats pulse on the inside of the back thigh, where the leg joins to the body. Normal for cats: 110-170 beats per minute.

Well I knew about stroking lowers blood pressure cats dogs etc... The rest I did not know but always good to learn new knowledge. Thank you for that and Happy New Year...

In Japan, cats are thought to have the power to turn into super spirits when they die. This may be because according to the Buddhist religion, the body of the cat is the temporary resting place of very spiritual people.i
