A catapult is a ballistic device that can launch long-range projectiles without the help of gunpowder or other propellants, especially various types of ancient and medieval siege engines. It uses the sudden release of stored potential energy to propel its payload.
We decided to make this catapult on the 3D printer and the whole process went very well, whether printing, assembly or experimentation. After several adjustments, we were able to launch objects at a good distance. Naturally, after some time, and due to the fragility of some components, it was damaged. We have more reasons to re-print and test longer distances.
