OH BOY NOW I NEED TO PICK OUT A NEW CAT FOOD!!!!!

Cats can be very picky eaters, so about three years ago when we found our " Wild Child " we searched, and searched until we found a high protein food without fillers.
Purina Pro Plan True Nature Natural Trout & Rice Recipe was the winner.....
This food has 45% protein, crude fat of 13.5% and a calorie per cup of 450.
We auto ship this food online from a large pet food distributor.
Last week we were informed that this food is now discontinued ....... as of January!!!!
We were in a panic to find a replacement, and all of the Purina Pro Plan cat foods that are still being made only have a protein content of 40%.........
We have one sixteen year old cat and we really didn't want to reduce the protein in her food.
So the quest began.......

Enter Instinct Wild Caught Salmon....43% protein, 18% crude fat and 525 calories a cup, slightly higher calories, but that might be OK.
This is very fishy, and my " wild child / part pit bull / Mountainlion " LOL..... has stopped in his tracks to smell this food.
I really don't know if this food will work or not, this boy is a high energy machine I need to get a radar gun to see just how fast he is, I have actually heard him slam into walls as he raced through the house......Crazy Boy!!!

What is important is to gradually mix the new food into the old, and we have three full bags of the old but the clock is ticking.......
He's eating some but this weekend I am going to buy Instinct Cage Free Duck with Chicken and Egg 47% protein, crude fat 17% and 496 calories a cup.

Our furry children, they are such a joy I just want the best for them........ :)
