I never thought that I will be that crazy cat lady. Growing up as a dog lover, I did not imagine that a time will come when I will be caring so much for stray cats.
Apple, I was 8 months pregnant when someone dropped a lil 1 day old kitten in front of our gate. That time I have no idea how to take care of a kitten. And I am not even sure I would even like to have a cat in my care. I felt cats are new to me. I fed her and was her mother for all 6 weeks. I saw her grew into a lil kitten..slowly opening her eyes. But sometimes no matter how much we love them, they won't make it. She died in my arms at 6 weeks... That was years ago, but the memory will always stay fresh and I have never stop loving cats/kittens since then.
I have blamed myself for what happened. Maybe if I was knowledgeable it could have been a good ending for her.
There were so many kittens and cats after her but Apple was different, she was special. She made me love all cats. She was the start of everything that I am doing right now.
Someday I will have the chance to give them a sanctuary where they all can live a good life away from the mean, cruel people of this world.
