We awoke this morning here in Somerset, KY to a winter wonderland. It's funny how something I would seemingly pray for as a child, has become something to revile as an adult. As a cat lover and owner of 5 I was stricken with panic to realize my prized Tom, "Little Boy" as we've come to call him, was not in the house. Realizing I had let him out yesterday, I began yelling for him out the door. A couple hours pass and finally I see the old boy huddled up by the door waiting to be let in. Joy of joys! I was sure I might not see him again. It's crazy how animals can become as beloved as your children. It's also crazy how easily you can lose them. But that's a story for another day.
