Cat Toys Everywhere

Ever since the momma cat Paws here had her two baby kittens, my room has been filled with all kinds of cat toys. These kittens have been a few of the most active kitties I have ever seen, even in this little space they have had to live in their few months on the planet so far. They make use of just about anything that moves or can move for their amusement. Things that you might not have to go out and bu for the most part, but we did have three catnip mice toys for them all so they would not feel like they had to fight over just one. They all loved paying with those, even the momma cat, who we call Paws.

Momma Paws cat is not too old that she doesn't want to play anymore, especially around her kittens. The black and white kitten was a little more reserved than the tiger one but when he left she started to get a little "psycho" like him, but in a fun way. She runs all over the house now that my door is sometimes open from this room. Her little heartbeat is so fast when I pick her up after that it worries me. Cats have faster heart beats than us humans and that is why they can't have things like ham as far as food. That would be too fatty for their hearts to handle.

Things like empty paper towel rolls were cut up smaller and they played with those. Then there were some things like shoe laces and shoes that were hanging around the room. Very funny to watch them play with those especially, they were one of their first unintentional "toys" here. They had a "fishing pole" type of toy but the green fuzzy thing on the end was eventually chewed and destroyed. RIP Green Fuzzy thing.

Do your cats ever destroy their toys? I have heard of it, but not too often in kittens. I mostly only heard this about dogs in general, but let's not generalize. The world has different animals and people who do different things. We don't want to seem like If she's destroyed her toy already makes me almost want to wonder what she'll destroy as in other forms of "being" later in her older years.

But, cats will be cats. You have to take the good with the bad with them like everything else if reasonable. These cuties were a big part of my life this summer, and although I probably won't see them again when I leave Michigan they were there at the right time I needed them for awhile.
