Siamese Personality traits

      I thought I would just get a little feed back on different cat breeds and their personalities. I have 5 cats myself and can tell you that all 5 have such different personalities. On the other hand, I have a curiosity with finding out if certain breeds have a consistent personality. So I think this week I will start with my favorite breed, The Siamese. To be more specific, the Flame Point Siamese. 

Here is what I have noticed about my Siamese:

1.  I have owned 2 Flame Points and what I have noticed is that they are VERY chatty, and are very loud when you don't pay attention to them.

2.  My Flame Point does not like to be left alone, except when he is in a deep sleep and doesn't notice he is left alone. 

3.  He is very jealous and does not like other cats getting my attention. He is a real bully to my other cats IF they allow him to be.

4.  He pretty much likes to be petted until he says stop.  This usually means I pet him a few times and without warning, he will bite my hand and that would be his  tolerance of petting at that time.

5.  He will wait by the door or sleep nearby the door when he knows I have left the house.

6.  And my favorite trait that I have noticed in my Siamese , is his lack of sympathy at 4am in the morning.  He will lay on my back, side, face, wherever... until I get up and either feed him or pet him. It is a everyday ritual of his that I can expect to be woken up at night at least 2 times.
