My Human and I were looking at — and organizing — old photos here on the computer, and came across what is probably the earliest kitten picture of me we have.
This was taken the day I came to my new home from the shelter, when I was maybe 8 or 9 weeks old. Just a scrawny little kitten with a huge head! But happy to be away from the eternal sound of sad meowing and barking at the animal shelter.
I almost immediately got very sick with some kind of infection and fever, and had to be taken to the vet. For a few days, nobody knew whether I would even make it.
But here I am! And now it's 2 1/2 years later and I am a happy and well-adjusted cat, living with two Humans who love me!
For fun, just wanted to share that photo.

Thank you! Yeah, those kitten stripes were quite prominent in the beginning... at first the Humans thought I might be a "black tabby" but by the time I was about 5-6 months old the stripes were no longer visible.

Hey @curatorcat !! I Loved the picture. I always find kittens really cute. All my cats have grown up now. Miss the days when they were kittens playing, scratching and jumping around. No wonder they grow up so soon. Looking at your cat's picture reminded me so much of the old kitten days. 😍

Yeah, kittens are marvelous and funny and sweet and endlessly entertaining. Thankfully we have a good collection of photos to remember them by.... and they have grown into wonderful adult cats!
