Angie’s Favorite Things! 💕 (#2)

Happy Saturday, everyone! I’ve had a long, busy week. I was honestly hoping that I’d go into labor, but unfortunately that didn’t happen 🤷🏼‍♀️. No matter! That just means that I have more time to post to my blog and support all of my Steem buddies 😁! So... without further ado, I’d like to present my Favorite Thing for Week #2: my CATS! 😸♥️😸👇🏻

In previous posts, I’ve mentioned my love for animals... but I have a special love for the feline family. As soon as the opportunity presented itself, I adopted a cat. In August 2017, I went to a shelter and adopted a skinny gray and white spitfire of a kitten with green eyes. That little guy was my first cat, Merlin.

Here he is:

Merlin is very handsome, but he was a NIGHTMARE as a kitten. He was hyper, loved to claw people while playing and was entirely too ferocious! 😼 After a lot of research, I decided that the best way to correct his behavior was to adopt another cat (lucky me)! So about a month or so after adopting Merlin, we added a new addition to the family.

Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve always wanted a pretty white kitten with blue eyes. When I went back to the shelter to find a buddy for Merlin, I found my dream girl. Without hesitation, I scooped her up before anyone else could take her. That day, my sweet Pandora stole my heart! 🥰

Here she is in all of her glamorous glory!

Merlin and Pandora are TOTAL opposites! Merlin is moody, stingy with food, assertive and cuddly. Pandora is sweet, timid, aloof, and to be honest... a little slow (but that’s okay because she’s cute 😉). They balance each other out; Pandora calms Merlin down, and Merlin gives Pandora bravery. They are also IN LOVE 😍. You literally can not separate them; they are a package deal!

I mean, just LOOK at how cute they are! 😱

And just in case you’re wondering... yes... they’re both fixed. I love cats, but two is enough! 😂

Merlin and Pandora will be 2 in June. I still can’t believe how much they’ve grown. They’re very affectionate, and they’re just as emotionally attached to us as we are to them! There are many pictures that I’ve caught of them loving up on me over the time that we’ve had them. Below, I’ve picked some of my favorites 💕💕 (they just all happen to be with Merlin, Pandora snuggles with us too but she tends to not be as cooperative for group pictures haha):

I even caught them snuggling with my husband @jpburnsed96 💕 This picture is my absolute FAVORITE because Perry HATED cats before he met me. He reluctantly let me adopt Merlin and Pandora, and they pretty much forced their love on him until he caved and accepted their affection. So this picture 👇🏻 is a pretty big deal! 💁🏼‍♀️

Whew! This post was a long one! I’d apologize for bombarding you with pictures of my cats, but that’s pretty much the whole point 💁🏼‍♀️ I hope you love them just as much as I do! ♥️♥️♥️
