Our beloved Tuxie died just after midnight on Monday morning. We took him to the emergency vet that had saved Cosmo's life a year before, but there was no miracle for our amazing Tuxie.
Luckily, the vet we took him to has his own crematorium, and does single-animal cremations. (Which is ungodly expensive and a lot of animal crematoriums cremate multiple animals at once, mix their ashes, and when you get their ashes back, it's not all of them and you have the ashes of other people's animals mixed in.)
I had wanted to bury Tuxie, but due to uncertainty with our living situation, I chose to cremate him instead. The details behind this decision will be revealed at a later time during one of several memorial posts I've been writing over this week.
Tuxie's ashes are ready to be picked up today, but we can't pay for it at this moment. We may be able to make a partial payment, but we might not even be able to make that until a week from today.
I don't want to leave my beautiful Tuxie's ashes sitting there at the vet for another week or even possibly longer. He deserves better than that.
His cremation (combined with the emergency vet bill, which is extremely cheap compared to just emergency vet bills alone in the USA) costs $365.92.
I hate to ask for help with this, but I'm not above begging for this. Tuxie was our beloved companion. My husband and I and our remaining four cats are really having a hard time with his loss. Especially Tuxie's younger (actual) brother, Cosmo.
If you could please find it in your heart to help us with this, we'd be eternally grateful.
He was such a beautiful, loving soul.
Please resteem for visibility.

It's been really hard. His younger brother (top image) is having trouble without his brother, best friend, and soulmate here.

I really doubt it'll happen to your kittens. He was quite old, but that's not what got him.
I'll be posting more indepth information sometime soon. I've just been struggling to put it together. This loss is very heavy on our hearts.
