While it may seem logical to not waste food or provide a cat with a helping of something that has been cooked for the table, there lies great risk in poisoning a cat by feeding foods that are toxic to the feline body.

A common cooking agent in modern cooking comes in the form of the natural emulsifier of garlic and onions. While providing great flavour and taste to human orientated dishes, they are highly damaging to cat’s health and will induce lethargic reactions due to deformation of red blood cells.
