Yep 20 miles from the AL line on i65. At a micro Pilot TS. Holds like 10-15 trucks. I fuel @ Pilot cuz i get a good discount, or i would never pull in to one....lol

My wife has worked for the State of Florida since 1996. You wanna talk about the "Good ol boy-bro in law network" gone wild...... lmao

ha! oh I bet! (about the good old boy network) They always say "it's who you know, not how much you know" and that has always been the case hasn't it?

Pilot...wow...Mrs. J worked at one for a few weeks but they were a nightmare to work for. It's the only job she ever quit at, that's how bad they treated their people. They seemed to run the trucking part of the operation pretty well. That place isn't real big but the volume is staggering. almost always a line of trucks waiting to get in to get fuel. Its at exit 87 on 30 about 8 miles West of Greenville, TX.

But I don't know if I've ever seen a Micro one holding just 10-15 trucks!
Are you stopping for the night then?

Yep, done 4 the day, watchin TV. And plunkin away on this Samsung Tab A.

Are you at that Micro Pilot? Did you take your co-pilots out for an evening walk or something?

Nahhhh. Cold and wet here. As you know Cats are nothing like Dogs. A dog will run thru the mud and snow. Just generally happy to run and play.

For Samantha Jo to walkabout with me, it has to be Purrrr fectly quiet. Not too windy, nothing scary Goin on. Sooooo so so hard to find those conditions out here in this MADNESS..... LOL

I Enjoy these chats with You @janton. Your interest in our strange journey out here is refreshing. Many days we just feel "forgotten"

haha! you have the best images for every subject! lol. Well I find the journey super interesting. I've always loved traveling across country at night because of all the truckers out there who are professional drivers and know what they're doing, much safer than cars I believe.
Do you go anywhere or do you have limits? Like from FL do you drive to Washington state or something crazy like that?

Yeah I know about dogs, me and Jack got soaked tonight playing frisbee!
here he is:

What an awesome fella he is..!!!!

#4 on the most feared dog list tho, right ahead of my #5 Sierra.

Talk about a "bad rap" these 2 breeds are the most loyal, and least dangerous in my oppinion.

Your Jack is feared due to police / military use. My Sierra due to myth of wolf relationships.......

My oppinion is the 1-3 are deserving of fear tho.....

  1. Pit bull
  2. Rottweiler
  3. Doberman

But we know better...... ours should not be on the list. Not top 5 anyways, that is for sure...!!

Howdy sir krazzytrukker! wow I can see why German Shepards are on the list but I had no idea that your's would be, I wouldn't have guessed that, very interesting. And thats a good photo too.

I do go everywhere, but not Canada anymore, no more New England, and have not been 2 Kommy Kalifornia in almost 20 yrs.

I try to avoid anti trucker states like Illinois, Maryland, upstate NY. Minnesota. The list kept growing......

wow sir krazzytrukker, why not Canada, New England and those anti-trucker states? What is an anti-trucker state? I can see that it would be a nightmare in CA with the traffic and regulations and all. lol. great image!
