Greetings, dear readers!
What do you think, if a cat lives in the house, who is the owner?
An interesting question to which there is no definite answer.
It all depends on how you behave towards your pet. If you can him, immediately after his appearance in the house, to show that the owner is you, and no one else, and will be.
Give at least a little slack, he will be the master. To convince him otherwise in the future will be either extremely difficult or simply impossible.
For the beginning it would be nice to know a little more about this animal.
We think we know everything about him, but is it true?
What do you think, when you are going to take a kitten to the house, which one of you chooses a friend? You or him?
If you decide that it is you, then 90-95 percent you are deeply mistaken...
It is the cat who decides whether he will live with you in peace, love you and let him do the same with you.
Usually it at first sight imperceptibly, but in my life there were two, diametrically opposite, cases.
One day one of my employees brought a small, fluffy ball trembling with fear to work. He wanted to find a new owner for the two-month-old kitten's.
Of course, everyone rushed to see this miracle, to pet him, to pick up, but the kitten shied away from anyone who tried to do it, and hissed...
When the owner of the kitten and put him on my Desk, he quickly climbed up to my chest, conveniently lay down and began to sing his song... It was so touching, so touching that I naturally could not stand it and took him home.
With me together, my son lived. He just wanted to stroke my affectionate fluffy girlfriend, she hissed at him and did not admit to him for almost a year.
To be honest, I'm still not sure which one of us was the boss. I think we had full equality.
Unfortunately, after a few years was a misfortune, my favorite was lost, having got under the car. I had to find a new cat. I live in the private sector and without shaggy rodent hunters to live is not an option.
That's when I encountered a real phenomenon in my life.
I love cats, they always reciprocate me too, even those I see for the first time.
I was asked to take a three month kitten some of my friends. When I came for him, took and got into the car to his son, the kitten all his attention immediately transferred to him. I could hardly hold a new pet in my hands so that it would not prevent my son from driving.
Almost two years kot accepted only son, and rushed at me screaming, biting and scratching.
Don't know what went on, but my friend gave it to me of the kitten, that fell on my neck, like a collar, and then purred.
My opponent at once grew quiet, probably something clicked in his head, he ceased to feel himself the main thing in the house. He now thinks that not I am his mistress, but occasionally provides me with attention.
He chose my son as his master, once and for all.
If you want the cat to obey you in everything, you have to make every effort and a lot of time.
Remember that he cherishes his freedom, and to get him to do you to do anything, will not bring the desired effect.
Act for the most part with affection, persuasion. Even if you have to punish him for some leprosy, do not yell at him, just say in a strict voice that you can not do so. You can look him in the eye and a little knock on the nose.
After some time after the punishment caress him, treat something tasty. If you do not, your pet can take revenge on you in the most unexpected way.
Do not forget to give him as much attention as possible, especially in his first two years of life.
If you make friends with him, he will give you a lot of joy and good mood, and will help you in difficult times, heal you from depression and even physical pain.
Goodbye, thank you for your attention.
With respect to you, @mrfantastis.
