CAVALIER shades 2019-10-14
Back on the 14th of October (in 2019) I took a picture, and when I posted it to Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/B3nru3mHBbk/ I also created some alternate versions using my phone, now I'm posting it here.

The color is boosted a bit in this image.
I like compact cars, and the Cavalier is a favorite of mine, I hold a slight preference to the wider headlights of the 1995 to 1999 Cavaliers, but I like the bumpers of these 2000 to 2002 Cavaliers more, as it has more area above and in front of the grill, same goes for 2003 to 2005 Cavalier bumpers, but I prefer the headlights on all the 1995 to 2002 Cavaliers over the 2003 to 2005 Headlights.
Boosting the color like this makes the over all shapes even more noticeable, but it sure doesn't hide how the paint (at the clear coat level) had been deteriorating in the past year. (The paint is nearly two decades old and until recently it has held up well)

I'm pretty sure this picture isn't edited, just the original taken by my phone, the original file name doesn't confirm or deny this, far more realistic than the above image, the reflection from the grey sky makes the car look less red than usual.

Now the Cavalier is all charged up and ready to go.

From the 1982 to 2005 model years the Cavaliers have had a continuous evolution, most of my favorite designs where from between 1984 and 2002, and in this image the over all front shapes of the 2000 to 2002 Cavaliers are very distinct, black and white makes the hood, lights, bumper, and all shapes look very distinct...
But that also makes the paint chipped off the bumper (that happened when previous owners had the car) and the fluid film on the door really stand out, but that's OK, the car was used a lot, no reason why it shouldn't look used.

That's all for now, just wanted to share some pictures where I played around with color and other aspects of the picture.
