Product Details
This fine silver 1 oz coin celebrates a new series featuring dynastic Chinese imagery, in the case of the first issue from the Ming Dynasty emulating a fine detailed production of the official Jiajing Emperor.
The Dragon in the center holds the Chinese character sheng (deity), which means "divine" or "imperial majesty." The characters above it (fu on the right and bi on the left) generally signify "to add" or "to support." In this case, they refer to the dragon, a well-known symbol of imperial authority.
Coin Highlights:
Very limited mintage of 25,0000 coins.
Contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver.
Each coin comes in a protective plastic capsule. Multiples of 5 typically come in a sealed sheet. Multiples of 125 come in a larger box.
Obverse: Features the coat of arms of the Republic of Cameroon.
Reverse: Features an artistic depiction of the imperial dragon as portrayed in legendary Chinese mythology.
This coin is manufactured and distributed by Scottsdale Mint and is legal tender in Cameroon.

How to detect Fake Silver and Gold❓

So, with gold and silver prices starting to go up and has gone up, it's critical to know what you are really buying and who you are buying from.

There are a few tests for the retail consumer -

• acid metal testing solutions (destructive testing)
• specific gravity (more reliable for small coins and bars than for larger ones)
• sound test for bullion coins, rounds, and bars
• magnetic test for silver

Question:

➩ "Why don't you take the silver coin out to photograph them?

Answer:

1 - It is sealed to protect the silver from tarnish - why would I open it and expose them to acid, grease, and moisture? Besides, I do not want to have to open it and then reseal it.

2 - Showing them "as received" provides you more information than showing them after opening them. This additional information is helpful to some - the coins and rounds were packaged differently - you'll see in posts in the future weeks of silver that I bought from them.

I bought these to give to my grandchildren when they are old enough to treasure them and perhaps the price of silver will be not as depressed (artificially or manipulated - some say) as they have been.
