MY THURSDAY FAVORITES THEME: MY FAVORITE PLACE TO SHOP FOR CLOTHES

in ccc •  5 years ago

I am the person who really do like to shop for clothes, but, hehehe...only window shopping I rarely bought clothes.

In my high school and college days, I love to window shop then drew the design of the dresses and pants I like, bought the cloth per yard with almost same print then let my neighbor dressmaker sew, presto! She really copied the original at much cheaper cost. This was clothes for important events. Mostly my everyday clothes were handed down from my older cousins, so, no need to buy.

When I was married already, still same tradition. My children were given clothes from my cousins older children and my closed friends who were abroad like Australia, Canada and USA. They send packages especially before christmas new and pre loved clothes, cosmetics, toys and kitchen wares.

Five years ago, when I started to crochet my own tops I copied designs online clothes shop sometimes at the malls.

Lately, since we arrived back in our home Island, my favorite shops were pre-loved shop or over run display shops.

Like Fabulosa Fashion Inc, there are many pre loved shops all around the public market, what I like with this shop it is spacious, neat, class, fragrant shop and all displays are hangered no need to pick up or choose at the mountain of clothes which others shop are doing. I can easily see the design and sizes everytime I moved one by one the hangered clothes.

I snapped this yesterday, oh la la, they were on sale, old stocks were 5 pcs $2USD any piece as long as you pick 5 with in that rack. Then, at center racks pants, slacks, skirts, sunday dresses of all sizes were buy 1 take 1 for only almost $3 USD.

While near the door up to the end New Arrival racks were ranging to $4 to $7 then branded pre-loved were at higher cost.

Noticed my cover pic the dress with crocheted accent it was for $4, hmm, I just snapped it and just copy the stitch... my forte eh, copying.

Once in a while, when they have shipments over load, all of their old stocks were displayed outside sell for just 1 cent per piece, whoa... I have experienced buying that time, ho my, I picked faster for there were many many customers who picked first what I liked. Imagine just cent with quality clothes!
That time I bought 30 pcs, send it to my daughters to sell in Olongapo City, our 2nd home.
