Discovering the Hidden Beauty of Aloguinsan, Cebu

Looking for a perfect summer get away? Want to bask under the heat of the sun and reconnect with nature? Want to escape from the stressful works? Well, Aloguinsan Hidden Beach Resort is a perfect place to go.

Cebu is very famous for its powdery white sands and pristine blue waters. In fact, Cebu is considered to be one of the perfect destinations for your summer vacation.

As a college student, it is indeed a very important thing to relax and enjoy after a hell week at your University. We need to unwind and think of positive vibes only. Together with my co Mechanical Engineering students, we decided to head on the Aloguinsan's best kept secret, the "Hermit's Cove". Hermit's Cove is located at Baranggay Kantabogon in Aloguinsan. A 2 hours travel from Cebu City.

How to get there? From Cebu South Bus Terminal, ride on a yellow bus heading to Aloguinsan and tell the bus ticketer to drop you off at Aloguinsan Public Market. From there, you can ride on a motorcycle plying to Hermit's Cove. For less hassle, you can bring your own car or you can rent a van. Though the road is quite challenging, but when you finally reached Hermit's Cove , the long drive are all worth it.

Upon arriving at the cove, we were then welcomed by the local cooperative who are running the place. The view is very cool and refreshing.

Before you can enjoy its mesmerizing white sands and clear blue waters, you need to take another challenge on its more than a hundred staircase (I think haha).

Its white sands are very amazing and the nature is very relaxing.

Now, you can enjoy yourself walking along the seashore and playing around the waves.
