ONE-YEAR STEEMVERSARY TO ME

I was on my bed last year when my friend, @iluzymoore, mentioned a writing platform. He said he heard it from @tosyne2much and we should join. I was so sleepy yet I registered and hours later, I got a mail that my registration was successful. This is what most people don't know about my username: I had the intention of using "iambigdee" but my sleepy self chose @imbigdee instead (without the a). @ilukzymoore called me to login with the generated password but it wasn't going because I thought I chose iambigdee. It was later I tried imbigdee and it was successful.

I wrote my heart out for the introduction post and it was fair because SBD and Steem's price were at the peak. Subsequent articles suffered and I almost gave up. I gave myself break and for three good days, I was busy reading extensively and watching YouTube videos about Steemit. The next post I wrote fetched me $5 and that was the beginning.

Steemit have helped me financially, emotionally, morally, socially, physically, psychologically and academically. I am grateful for @starkerz, @shaka and @anarcotech for finding my promo-steem articles even without promoting them. They gave me upvotes that encouraged me to stay and promote Steemit. I can say boldly that I have brought in 8 people to this platform.

My journey is incomplete without discord. It really helped my journey and the first channel I joined was @airhawk-project. This was the place I met great people and I am eternally grateful for @samest - a great man that has blessed my Blockchain journey as a whole. Through the channel, I have spread to @altruisticbot by @seyiodus, @flaminghelpers by @stevenmosoes, @reachout, @stach by @ejemai, @naijapidgin by @ogoowinner @futurethinker of @promo-mentors, @faetee of @girlsfoundation, @gandhibaba of @steemitcentral and others.

I am typically a shy person but @naijapidgin gave me a voice. I became a co-host with wonderful @itoroarchibong for one of the greatest shows on discord. I met talented and untalented people from far and wide. Thanks to @zyzymena for giving me that position and voice.
