Fans of the actor are blamed for causing separation between him and his eight-year-old wife, Anna Faris.
Following the announcement of Chris Pratt's surprise separation from his wife Anna Faris after eight years of marriage, fans are looking for an explanation - and some are pointing to Jennifer Lawrence as the big culprit.
Both Pratt and Lawrence have firmly denied any relationship, but that did not stop Twitter fans from blaming the star of The Hunger Games.
"I can not believe that Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are going to be separated. This is all Jennifer Lawrence's fault" , wrote a social network user.
Rumors of a possible Pratt and Lawrence romance began last year during the filming of "Passengers." At that time, Faris admitted that the situation was not easy for her.
"It made me feel very insecure, I remember feeling hurt in such a way that it bothered me, I did not want to accept that a gossip had affected me so much," she added.
Lawrence is in partnership with the director of "Black Swan", Darren Aronofsky, with whom he has been dating since last September. A source close to the actress told Page Six: "Jennifer is very close to Darren. There's no way she's with Chris”.
Pratt and Faris have a four-year-old son, Jack. They met on the set of the movie Take Me Home Tonight, shot in 2007, two years before Pratt landed a role on NBC's "Parks and Recreation" and became a star.
But another source to the average city notes that Pratt's promotion had a major impact on his marriage.
"When they first met, Anna was the most famous, but now he's a big star. He's not the same person he married."
